I have great screen & stage presence, a very expressive face and a warm, articulate and clear voice. My sharp timing means I think on my feet. I am very natural in front of the camera and have a lot of experience doing face to face interviews, commercials, TV, theatre, both improvised and immersive.
I studied at Oxford University and did my post-grad in Classical Acting at LAMDA. I've co-written, produced and performed in my own feature film called That's For Me!, a spoof documentary about a wannabe delusional actress from a dysfunctional Jewish family. It was selected as best comedy at the Montreal Comedy Film Festival Just For Laughs.
Here's a little about what I've been working on recently...
I've just finished playing multiple roles for an immersive Shakespeare theatre company including Lady Macbeth, Titania & Cleopatra.
I played a deadpan newsreader in a new commercial for BT Sport, an expectant, neurotic mother in a new Radio Four comedy play called Josh Howie's Losing It and a war-torn 1940s woman in the new Robert Zemeckis feature film, Allied, starring Brad Pitt. I am a regular voice over artist and am a busy actor, writer and mother of three children. I toured with my own musical comedy (Mancunian Rhapsody), which also included a month at the Edinburgh Fringe 2015, where it was very well received. My talents include singing, acting, stand-up comedy, voiceover and improvisation. I am a team player and a fast learner. I am currently rehearsing for a new play translated from the Spanish called 'Bed Sheets & Departure Lounges' to be performed in July at the Cervantes Theatre in London.
I am also experienced, energetic and creative and can guarantee you a professional, outgoing and positive attitude -not to mention being friendly, reliable and a lot of fun to work with!
