Ben trained as an actor at Arts Educational Drama School in 1991. He has made appearances in a number of television programmes including, The Bill, Eastenders, Casualty, The Mighty Boosh, Crimewatch, Coupling, Holby City, Harry Enfield and has appeared in feature films such as Deathwatch and Bright Young Things. He has had lead roles in numerous television commercials including Mookie Toys, Estates Direct and Claim Today.
His broadcasting career as a sports reporter and presenter for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire begun in 2001. In 2004, he made the transition from radio to television, presenting the 2nd series of Angling Times TV for Discovery Home & Leisure. He is now a highly experienced Voice Over and Corporate presenter with a number of repeat international clients and continues to freelance for the BBC in Cambridge.
Ben is always happy to travel but is based in Cambridge, UK and works as a voice over artist worldwide, from his own ISDN studio. He can provide edited, multi-format voice files, sent directly to your inbox or FTP site of your choice. He has a BBC trained, RP accent and his voice has been described as warm, reassuring, engaging, clear, sincere, friendly, believable and kind, which immediately inspires a measure of confidence and trust in the listener. Voiceover clients include the BBC, Thomas Cook, Sainsburys, Nasal Guard, Air Ethiopia, Bosch, Deutsche Bank, Subway and he has voiced a number of children's digital books.
