About us

Crealy Great Adventure Park & Resort is the South West’s largest family theme park attraction and is home to over 60 rides, attractions and live shows and zoo. Set in over 100 acres of glorious Devon countryside the business also consists of a large luxury lodge and camp resort that includes uniquely themed glamping accommodation.

About the job

Crealy is currently looking for qualified applicants to provide entertainment to guests as a fully costumed character who performs, greets guests, and interacts with children throughout various locations across the resort. We are also looking for Show Team who have a passion to perform and host on stage both in the daytime inside the Theme Park and evenings in the Club House.

Character duties

Meets and greets park guests cordially with respect, courtesy, and fairness
Entertains guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand and body movements. along with posing for photos
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Show Team duties

Hosting events on the Theme Park daily
Hosting in an evening is essential in two entertainment venues
Hosting Game Shows/Bingo/Party Dances
Your own Cabaret slot (if a singer)
Daily Character Shows on the Theme Park
Hints & Tips before applying;

You must enjoy working with children.
We need our teams to be self-motivated, enthusiastic and work well without constant supervision.
Be able to relate to children both as a teacher/authority figure and as a friend.
Must be physically able to handle the demands of working in a full body costume (ie heat tolerance, peripheral vision and movement impairment).
Pay rates are based on a 6-day show week.
You will expected to work all bank holidays, school holidays and weekends.
Usual working week will be 40-48 hours
Accommodation is available during the summer contract (March – October)
Full training will be given so experience is not essential
