Seeking couples to be photographed for Photobook
21 to 55
Full Details of Job / Opportunity
SEED Editions is a London-based independent publishing house created in 2018 with the intention of creating artefacts and printed matter across contemporary art, literature and design. In the short time that it has been active, SEED Editions has harnessed a growing following for its use of graphic-heavy aesthetics and art direction, within the creation of publications and posters.
SEED Editions is now casting for couples, who would be interesting in being documented for a mid-long term project, that would be published late 2019/early 2020- hopefully as a publication. The images created are to serve as an organic, honest, insightful collection of photos, both staged and improvised, that share a powerful narrative to audiences, in a physical form.
Body confidence/comfortability with nudity, familiarity with contemporary photography or the ability to be documented within your own living space are all advantageous but not requirements. BAME, mature, queer, or mixed couples will take priority, although anyone interested should get in touch.
The shoots themselves will be quick and efficient, working with natural light and medium format film cameras. More than happy to send over references, as well as the work of the photographer who will be making the images.
This is a paid assignment- however, only to the equivalent of expenses (£12.00) per person, per shoot.
To be considered, please send over a few sentences about your interest and experience to date, with some recent photographs and information regarding availability.
Willing to travel beyond London for the right couple(s).
